Mobile phone every one uses - Document actions when using the product by photographs. The collected images not sufficient at all.

Still more images I want to see.

Mobile phone usage scenarios needs also to be documented.

After completing
1. collectiing more images.
2. PDF files of internet data
3. Documenting actions with photographs
4. Internal and external interfaces documented to be seen.

after showing this you could move on to the next phase.

Egg Beater is an excellant product - look at award winning products in Egg Beaters - look at the Books on Industrial Design we have.

As discussed yesterday - you could start with the patents and progress on the next step.

did you find out what are interface elements and why it is specifically designed for Ladies.

I wanted to see more images of headphones. about different branded products like BOSS, Bang & Olufson - who are leaders in AUDIO Devices.

I have not seen the Acrobat file nor the product actions in volved when using the product.

List the interfaces and keep the blog updated, then only you could move on to the next stage of problem identification .

Go on to next stage - of identifying the problems in interface and coming up with ideas.

One major problem in Emergency lamp is incase of emergency it does not work, and its primary purpose fails. Battery discharges in case of long usage etc.,

Can there be a spare battery pack attached, it can also be used as battery charger - the battery can be used for other applications as well and in case of emergency and the lamp batteries drains, the replaceable battery can be used for emergency. Serves dual purpose.

Continue with problem statements and MIND OMO of ideas mapping.

Do not cut and paste information on the BLOG. Write information from your experience or about your findings or about your thinking.

On Helmets - take any sport that happens in India and design it around it. Go to beasant nagar beach in the mornings and you will find a skating ground near the beach talk to the kids who use these helmets for skating. Find their problem and start designing from there onwards.

I have still not seen the documenting actions and interface study of the product. And the literature search is also very broad, start to focus.

When documenting actions - Write about the scenario of documentation ..

In this scenario it is after buying and new installing the product - These actions happens only once in the product life cycle.

Also document the actions that happens regularly during the use of the product, think of various scenarios and document them from next project onwards. Keep Continuing to the next stage.

Go to the next step - Take a baby lotion dispenser from Johnson and design around that.

The main problem which I am facing is when the kid is playing with the lotion dispenser when dressing him, we always have a scare that the dispenser mouth is going to injure him or poke him somewhere, which is dangerous.

The interface of the mouth is for dispensing but it is also a dangerous element.

So the brief for your new design is designing a dispenser that is safe for kids when playing with it. A Safe Dispenser.

Go on to the next step of identifying the problem, mind mapping solutions, Mind omo and coming up with IDEAS.

Saravanan,
Adopt this problem solving technique in one of your daily projects that you are doing. Document the activities as you have shown and then show results.
